New Hospice Program Approaches Milestone

BVNA is pleased to announce that its new Hospice program is expected to provide care to its 50th patient this month and is now accepting new referrals for patients living in the 32 towns that the agency services in Southeastern Massachusetts.

For over 100 years, BVNA had provided thousands of patients and families the very best in home health care and support…up to a point. Although the non-profit agency provides high quality clinical care which has recently been rated with 4.5 out of 5 stars (, and has been a trusted resource in the region for generations, it still had to connect patients and families to other organizations for hospice care, the gold standard for end-of-life care. In 2019, the agency realized that it was time to offer the full spectrum of care to those it serves and launched efforts to build a hospice program of its own.
